We are all aware of the Amma Two-Wheeler or Amma Scooty Scheme which is to be launched on Ex-Chief Minister Late Selvi J. Jayalalitha’s 70th birthday, i.e., on February 24, 2018 as a mark of respect to her. According the scheme, Tamil Nadu government is offering 50% subsidy to working women for the purchase of mopeds.
Government has already started receiving application from January 22, 2018 and the last date of receiving the application is 5th February, 2018. This date has be extended till February 10, 2018. Don’t you have to apply before that to avail the two-wheeler subsidy?

Follow the below steps to apply for this subsidy
- You can download the application form from the government’s official link for this scheme. The links are also mentioned below.
- The candidates have to fill in the application form.
- The completed application form has to be enclosed along with all the necessary documents as mentioned in the scheme.
- All the documents along with the filled in application form has to be submitted to the nearest Zonal Office.

Im a working women in chennai but my native is salem and all my proofs belongs to my native. Shall i submit the form any nearest zonal office or only in our native location? And are they extended the date to apply?please respond me
There is no strict guidelines mentioned about where to submit the form. As far as following the operational guidelines, you can submit in any nearest office. In the official document, it is mentioned “The application forms will be filled and submitted to the respective Block offices /
Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) either in person or by Speed/Registered Post. Each
of the Block offices for rural areas / ULBs for urban areas must open one or more
designated counters as required for receiving the filled-in applications from 10.00
am to 5.00 pm on all working days.”

Whether college students can eligible for this subsidy??
If they are employed in any organisation as a part time employee, they may apply. You can also check at your nearest Block offices / Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
